That would make sense to me, I have narrowed it down to a CPU issue. Seeing as how 64bit has been out for a LONG time now, well I've had one for over 5 years, I am leaning more towards this being a Core2Quad issue. Do you by chance happen to have a Core2Quad machine? My CPU is a Q6600.
