[Marking this as a Ubiquity bug.] As you mentioned, this looks like it could be related to bug 130124 or bug 174669.
Could you please give us a list of the partitions that were on the computer when trying to install? You can do that by entering this command in the command line (it will ask you for your password, enter it and press enter): sudo fdisk -l Also, if you are going to try and install it again, possibly with an Alpha of Hardy, please use this guide to attach some important files. https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingUbiquity/AttachingLogs Thanks ** Changed in: ubiquity (Ubuntu) Sourcepackagename: None => ubiquity Assignee: (unassigned) => Greg Grossmeier (greg.grossmeier) Status: New => Incomplete -- [Gutsy Tribe 5] Existing partitions are not detected https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/144230 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
