I am on an ASUS X555BP initially Windows 8 then update for Windows 10. Following a modification by myself on the graphics card (update) there was an incompatibility so I went on Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS by usb key . I am in 64 bits under gnome 3.36.3. No problem to play a video etc except that the sound does not come out. In the terminal I have already uninstalled and reinstalled Pulse Audio, Alsa etc. It is able to give me the name of my graphics card when I query it through sudo lspci A9-9420 radeon r5, 5 compute cores 2c + 3g × 2 but no card is detected when I type aplay -l. Normally the operating system automatically installs drivers compatible with my graphics card so I don't know what to do. According to apt-cache I am using apt 2.0.2ubuntu0.1 (amd64) and I have also struggle with my computer's load detection. It accepts to be in charge once in ten which did not happen before. My computer was checked by a computer scientist, I have no hard drive or motherboard problem.
** Summary changed: - Carte son non detectée pourtant vu dans le terminal (son sortie fictive) + Sound card not detected yet seen in the terminal (fictitious output sound) ** Description changed: Je suis sur un ASUS X555BP initialement Windows 8 puis maj pour windows 10. + + I am on an ASUS X555BP initially Windows 8 then update for Windows 10.
