I went to look at the Calibre-site, and there it is said that it's better to install / download Calibre using the following instruction:
(see) https://calibre-ebook.com/download_linux sudo -v && wget -nv -O- https://download.calibre-ebook.com/linux-installer.sh | sudo sh /dev/stdin I did this and since then everything seems to be all right. (I first removed Calibre using synaptic) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1900271 Title: Calibre does not start in Ubuntu 20.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/calibre/+bug/1900271/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
