Fwiw- upgrade to development 20.10 (w/ 5.8.0-18-generic) shows me one, very nearby (in the same room) 2.4ghz SSID but not the 5ghz SSID advertised from the same device.
Attempts to connect to the 2.4ghz SSID result in: Sep 19 12:13:45 <hostname> kernel: iwlwifi 0000:00:14.3: No beacon heard and the session protection is over already...
