This was a tricky one to verify as I had to install 18.04, launch rapid- photo-downloader, then upgrade to 20.04 to duplicate the issue. As it's intermittent, it took a couple of tries to get the crash to happen, but it did and somewhat reproducibly thereafter.
I then upgraded to the 0.9.23a1 package that I had uploaded, after which I could no longer reproduce the error.
