The file came from oem-wifi-intel-iwlwifi-lp1810708-4.15-stack-dev- e33ba6d-core43-10-dkms_1.0_amd64.deb, which was preinstalled and on the Dell Precision 7540 recovery media-- it doesn't seem to be in any repo.
The backport-iwlwifi-dkms package looks like it was created after I opened this LP, maybe it needs a Replaces attribute, or there's some other packaging or process improvement? In any case, it's been so long since this report I've actually forgotten about it. I've since switched to the linux-image-generic-hwe-18.04-edge kernel, and that's working well without any backports. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1850089 Title: iwlwifi fails with linux-image-4.15.0-1059-oem To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/oem-priority/+bug/1850089/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
