Open the Terminal app and then type: sudo apt update
and then type: sudo apt full-upgrade and then reboot. If the problem is still not solved after that then open the 'Additional Drivers' app or the 'Software & Updates' app in the 'Additional Drivers' tab. That will allow you to install the correct Nvidia driver. If you still can't get it working after that then I recommend backing up all your data and reinstalling the system from scratch using https://releases.ubuntu.com/20.04/ Because this machine appears to have undergone 6 years of updates and is probably broken in more subtle ways than I can see right now. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1893094 Title: [Nvidia GeForce GT 710] wrong resolution, no working driver To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1893094/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
