Public bug reported: 1) release: Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS
2) package: okular snap, 20.04.0, from latest/stable and okular apt 4:19.12.3-2ubuntu1 3) okular snap package (for 20.04) does not support emacsclient correctly. In settings -> Editor "Emacs client" was selected. However, shift-click on a pdf did not invoke emacs as expected. The command emacsclient -a emacs --no-wait +100 file.tex from a terminal did work. I removed the snap okular package and installed the apt okular package via synaptic. Here emacsclient does work, has the expected behaviour. A possible reason for the problem is that emacsclient is only invoked when the "Tools -> Browse" is selected. While I did select this in okular-snap, the mouse cursor does not change to "hand", as it does in okular-apt. Emacs was installed from synaptic, i.e., as apt-package.
