network-manager does not support static IP's, so if you are indeed using
a static IP, you're not doing it with network-manager, and hence
network-manager-openvpn will not function correctly. Network-manager 0.7
will support static IP's, and at that point, everything will
automatically work. However, until then, there's nothing we can sensibly
do to make it work, sorry.
