Public bug reported: when I try to start Plasma Discover by clicking on it nothing happens.
I can only start it "sudo plasma-discover" it opens but the Discover start page with recommendations brings the error: "application could not be loaded. Please check the Internet connection". But the Discover still works. I did it on fresh Kubuntu 20.04 ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 20.04 Package: plasma-discover 5.18.5-0ubuntu0.1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 5.4.0-42.46-generic 5.4.44 Uname: Linux 5.4.0-42-generic x86_64 ApportVersion: 2.20.11-0ubuntu27.4 Architecture: amd64 CasperMD5CheckResult: skip CurrentDesktop: KDE Date: Sun Aug 2 22:55:10 2020 InstallationDate: Installed on 2020-08-02 (0 days ago) InstallationMedia: Kubuntu 20.04 LTS "Focal Fossa" - Release amd64 (20200423) SourcePackage: plasma-discover UpgradeStatus: No upgrade log present (probably fresh install) ** Affects: plasma-discover (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug focal -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1890059 Title: Plasma Discover does not start To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/plasma-discover/+bug/1890059/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
