I noticed the same bug affecting me on 3 installs: 1. Ubuntu Budgie 20.04 with Ubuntu Studio tools. Desktop, USB audio interface. 2. Ubuntu Budgie 20.04 with Ubuntu Studio tools. Laptop, Internal Audio card. 3. Ubuntu Studio 20.10 daily. Desktop, USB audio interface.
I do not think the issue is specifically of QASmixer. I tried to manipulate ALSA volume settings using alsamixer and and alsactl store, both with normal user and using sudo. Volume settings persist in the session, if I close and reopen QASmixer or alsamixer, but all volume settings are reset on reboot. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1799580 Title: Settings made by qasmixer are lost on next reboot To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/alsa-utils/+bug/1799580/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
