Same as Benjamin_L. It's not working on my primary desktop (A), but it's working on another computer (B), both are running up-to-date Hardy with Gnome.
dmesg/logs show the device on both but it's not auto-mounted on A. The only difference I see is that A is always attached to sdc1 (sg3 type 0) while B is always attached to sda1 (sg0 type 0).
