libreoffice is not a package that has been identified as having a microrelease exception according to <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/StableReleaseUpdates#New_upstream_microreleases>. And the Test case listed here seems rather aspirational - "bugs fixed upstream hopefully come with unit/regression tests". Please speak directly to how this update meets the standard for microrelease updates.
Also, it would help in terms of the justification of an SRU to have clarity around what the bugs are that are worth fixing. The only one that I see referenced is LP: #1869561 - do you beileve this bug in particular justifies taking the new upstream version? ** Changed in: libreoffice (Ubuntu Focal) Status: In Progress => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1881007 Title: [SRU] libreoffice 6.4.4 for focal To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libreoffice/+bug/1881007/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
