Another information I found while installing Windows : 
Without any driver, the touchpad doesn't work. 
It is instantly detected as an "i2c hid input device" when the "Serial IO I2C 
Host Controller - 34E9" device drivers are installed.

So, this seems to confirm to me that this touchpad IS plugged on the I2C bus.
If it can help developers, I can give informations about the pointing device 
while in Windows.
