The problem affects me at Linux Mint 19.3 Mate (Ubuntu 18.04 base), when I try to print as portable PDF. It seems that kicad doesn't care if the page-setting is portrait or landscape and always print in portrait-format. But default settings of the printer is landscape. This problem is mostly visible, if you select "scale to pagesize", not 1:1
