We have that same issue on a 5 year old Asus laptop. We have been getting it to work with the driver from https://github.com/neurobin/MT7630E.git
For some reason, I can't get it to compile on Ubuntu 20.04 / Kernel 5.4.0-29 The strangest thing is that it worked on the Live CD with no tweaks or anything. Then, when I rebooted after installing, it wouldn't work. I don't know how to figure out what is different on the live CD versus the installed OS. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1877026 Title: Network device missing after installation To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1877026/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
