"-m 5" to EARLYOOM_ARGS variable in /etc/default/earlyoom file Or use Fedora defaults: "-m 4 -M 409600" ? See https://github.com/rfjakob/earlyoom/issues/181 Another solution would be use Nohang - https://github.com/hakavlad/nohang ** Description changed: Please include earlyoom in main repository and ubuntu-desktop metapackage. - EarlyOOM service is enabled by default in Fedora 32 Workstationto improve the user experience in low-memory situations. + EarlyOOM service is enabled by default in Fedora 32 Workstationto improve the user experience in low-memory situations.
