Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: ubiquity

Ubuntu 7.10 desktop i386 CD

In the installer, if one tries to search thru the keyboard layout list, he can
"deadlock" easily.
Example:
on the "Keyboard Layout", focus into the layout list (by country) and type the
key N, then E, then T (to find "Netherlands").

Expected:
 - selection is on "Netherlands"

Actual:
 - after pressing N the selection gores to "Nepal", it is activated, and when
the user types E, a completelly different character is entered, so
"Netherlands" is not found

** Affects: ubiquity (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
