Public bug reported: [ Should be in package ubuntu-mate-icon-themes (as found by apt-file) but this does not exist according to the Ubuntu bug reporter. ]
At least for some icon sizes, the icons for secure mode (VPN) wireless network connection are missing from Radiant Mate theme (and probably some others). See screenshot, which shows a 'no icon' symbol in place of the network manager icon. On inspection, the svg file seems to be present in 22 directory only for Radiant-MATE. Other themes seem to have the icon in 22 and 24 directories /usr/share/icons 32> find . -name 'nm-signal-50-secure*' -print ./ubuntu-mono-light/status/24/nm-signal-50-secure.svg ./ubuntu-mono-light/status/22/nm-signal-50-secure.svg ./Humanity-Dark/status/24/nm-signal-50-secure.svg ./Humanity-Dark/status/22/nm-signal-50-secure.svg ./Ambiant-MATE/status/22/nm-signal-50-secure.svg ./Radiant-MATE/status/22/nm-signal-50-secure.svg ./ubuntu-mono-dark/status/24/nm-signal-50-secure.svg ./ubuntu-mono-dark/status/22/nm-signal-50-secure.svg ./hicolor/22x22/apps/nm-signal-50-secure.png ./Humanity/status/24/nm-signal-50-secure.svg ./Humanity/status/22/nm-signal-50-secure.svg ./mate/16x16/status/nm-signal-50-secure.png ./mate/32x32/status/nm-signal-50-secure.png ./mate/scalable/status/nm-signal-50-secure.svg ./mate/24x24/status/nm-signal-50-secure.png ./mate/48x48/status/nm-signal-50-secure.png ./mate/22x22/status/nm-signal-50-secure.png ** Affects: ubuntu Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1876457 Title: Radiant-Mate theme (and some others) are missing icons for secure (VPN) network To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/1876457/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
