Public bug reported: OS: Description: Ubuntu 20.04 LTS Release: 20.04
Octave Version: octave: Installed: 5.2.0-1 Candidate: 5.2.0-1 The octave program often crashes deterministically using simple instructions. An example is a = rand(20); b = inv(a); after these, I am unable to CTRL-C. It does not matter if I use 'octave' or 'octave-cli'. I've also had problems loading files from the filesystem using the following command load(file) These problems don't seem to happen when installing octave using Snap. ** Affects: octave (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: crash focal octave -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1876456 Title: octave freezes on simple instructions To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/octave/+bug/1876456/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
