I have:
+ A Genius Webcam (VideoCam Messenger sn9c101 Ov76)
+ A Dell Inspiron 6400 laptop (Linux valencia 2.6.22-14-generic #1 SMP Sun
Oct 14 23:05:12 GMT 2007 i686 GNU/Linux). It's completely up-to-date and runs
Kubuntu Gutsy 32-bit.
+ And, a Dell Inspiron 1501 laptop (Linux venezuela 2.6.22-14-generic #1 SMP
Sun Oct 14 21:45:15 GMT 2007 x86_64 GNU/Linux). It's completely up-to-date and
runs Kubuntu Gutsy 64-bit.
The webcam barely works on the 32-bit laptop (only Kopete recognizes
it), but on the 64-bit laptop no program can read from the webcam.
