Public bug reported: python-requests is due for removal in 20.04 because it depends on other modules that are already unbuildable due to removals.
Looking at the reverse-dependencies, I see that the uhome package depends on python-requests, but does not depend on python. This means the package is currently broken in focal, because it has not transitioned to using /usr/bin/python2 as a shebang. But it should really be migrated now to python3, so that we can remove python-requests. ** Affects: uhome (Ubuntu) Importance: High Status: New ** Changed in: uhome (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => High -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1874366 Title: uhome: unusable, requires /usr/bin/python but has no dependency, depends on to-be-removed python-requests To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/uhome/+bug/1874366/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
