Same issue for me as well. Although, I found that the standard-deviation in powerstat reduced when running on intel under consistent settings (1 chrome tab running YouTube). NVIDIA (av: 33.76 Watts, std: 11.07) and INTEL (av: 31.60 Watts, std: 2.36).
