I have the same issue on my Dell G3 3590 I "fixed" output (https://www.linuxuprising.com/2018/06/fix-no-sound- dummy-output-issue-in.html), on similar way as others, but input / internal microphone remains undetected (unplugged, as pulse audio says).
External microphone works fine and it saves me for now.
