Public bug reported: Binary package hint: hal
It is a known problem that removable storage devices mounted in async state are not always up-to-date. How about indicating somewhere (maybe in the drive-mount applet using red and green colors) if a drive currently has dirty buffers or if writing has finished? I would really love to be able to pull out my usb stick without having to unmount it by hend. This indicator would at least help a little bit. ** Affects: hal (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Indicate if removable storage devices are in synced state https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/173398 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
