Public bug reported: Testing 20.04 daily image (20200312). Booted LiveUSB to Live desktop. Executed KSystemLog from start->applications->system. The window opened off the right side of the screen. The only reason I saw it was because I clicked the item on the taskbar at the bottom of the desktop. That showed it travelling from the minimized state to the seeming larger desktop extending off the right side of my screen.
It seemed like it was opening to a 2nd desktop on the right side (but, as far as I know, there is no 2nd desktop). Or, it seemed like it was acting as if I had an external monitor attached to this laptop, extending the screen further to the right. As I typed the above I had the idea to look at settings->display and monitor. It thinks there is a 2nd monitor. It shows "Laptop screen" and "VGA-1-2" next to it. This is an old Del XPS L502X (i7-1630QM; Nvidia GT540M; Intel Centrino 6230).
