I replaced Ubuntu 19.04 with 18.04 LTS. The problem is still the same. 1. Power up computer 2. Ethernet icon does not show. "Wired..." does not show. No network access. 3. Restart computer (soft boot). 4. Ethernet icon returns as well as Internet access.
Note: I ran apport-collect 1860806 AFTER the reset process since I have no Internet access before that time, so likely the problem will not be obvious. Is there a way I can run "apport-collect 1860806" after a power on boot and send the data later when the Internet is working? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1860806 Title: Ubuntu 19.04 new ethernet problem To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/1860806/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
