Public bug reported: Hi,
I was using efitools 1.4.1 without problems, but since a few weeks I'm having troubles, when I try to update KEK key, efitools response: Failed to update KEK: Operation not permitted And if I try to update DB key: Cannot write to db, wrong filesystem permissions" I'm working on Ubuntu 18.04. Making some tests, I clone and compile efitools from https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/jejb/efitools.git/ and with the latest version (1.9.4), everything works fine. Somebody with the same problem? ** Affects: efitools (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1861001 Title: efitools cant update vars: "Cannot write to db, wrong filesystem permissions" To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/efitools/+bug/1861001/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
