Given the age of this bug report, if this issue occurs again or to
others, it'd be better to file a new bug report on it.

Fwiw, the error from the logs was:

x86_64-linux-gnu-gcc: error: unrecognized command line option
‘-fstack-protector-strong’
make: *** [blib/arch/auto/Mail/SpamAssassin/CompiledRegexps/body_0/body_0.so]
Error 1
command 'make >>/tmp/.spamassassin24489NMdVYUtmp/log' failed: exit 2

If anyone else thinks they're seeing this issue, the next action would
probably be to find what is using the ‘-fstack-protector-strong’ option
to gcc, and/or why x86_64-linux-gnu-gcc is not taking it.
