Bart Samwel can you please notify us when you have added the "use an apm of 128 while on battery" into Debian's acpi-support ?
I think we can increase the chance that this fix makes it into Gutsy's acpi-support if someone makes a debdiff when Debian's acpi-support has included the "use an apm of 128 while on battery" part of the fix. (maybe we need debdiffs for Dapper,Edgy,Feisty too if the debdiff for Gutsy gets included) If Hardy will use pm-utils ( https://blueprints.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+spec/pm-utils-integration ) then we need to make sure this fix will also make it into pm-utils.
