Added: I've reinstalled Ubuntu Gutsy, from scratch. I formatted both my root partition and my home partition. The problem still persists. I'm going to try reinstalling Grub, but I don't think that's the issue. If that doesn't work, I'll install Edgy and if that boots properly, i'll upgrade from there. Please, throw me a bone or something here. I'm really desperate to get ubuntu working properly.
