That has been discussed before and rejected, since that would represent a loss of functionality--a great deal of which *does* work in other viewers, and all of which works in Okular itself.
Let's focus on fixing the bugs rather than getting into the weeds with a bruising argument about whether the feature is ready for prime time yet. It's clearly not, but turning it off until it is isn't an option. Are you a programmer?
