Public bug reported: External subtitles do not work with LG Smart TV
miniDLNA supports srt files so you don't have to implement something else, but... Ubuntu 19.10 has built-in DLNA/UPnP AV services offered by rygel package. It can be easily enabled via System Settings utility. It would be great to solve this problem because users would not have to install other software. ** Affects: rygel Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Affects: rygel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Bug watch added: gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/rygel/issues #84 https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/rygel/issues/84 ** Also affects: rygel via https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/rygel/issues/84 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1859375 Title: External subtitles do not work with LG Smart TV To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/rygel/+bug/1859375/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
