The global menu patch (unity-menubar.patch) is usually disabled at the beginning of the firefox beta cycle if it doesn't apply cleanly, so as not to block publishing the first beta builds. It is later updated and re-enabled, so this is a normal situation.
Please note that using the firefox-next PPA is not recommended unless you know what you're doing (i.e. for testing purposes only). You might lose data by doing so. ** Changed in: firefox (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed ** Changed in: firefox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => Medium ** Changed in: firefox (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Olivier Tilloy (osomon) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1859083 Title: Global menu in Kubuntu is gone in Firefox Beta 73.0 on Eoan To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/firefox/+bug/1859083/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
