Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
Unfortunately, we cannot work on this bug because your description didn't include enough information. You may find it helpful to read "How to report bugs effectively" http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html. We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem. We don't know what architecture you are using? Whether you are using server, desktop or other? We don't know if you validated your ISO after download (to ensure it was perfect) or validated your install media (again to ensure write was flawless) Possibly useful : https://tutorials.ubuntu.com/tutorial/tutorial-how-to- verify-ubuntu#0 and https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Installation/CDIntegrityCheck We have instructions on debugging some types of problems at http://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProcedures. At a minimum, we need: 1. The specific steps or actions you took that caused you to encounter the problem. 2. The behavior you expected. 3. The behavior you actually encountered (in as much detail as possible). Reading your report it appears you'd most likely benefit from support. This bug report can be converted to a question (aimed at support); bug reports however are primarily aimed at finding problems, then fixing so subsequent users won't stumble with the same issue. You can also find help with your problem in the support forum of your local Ubuntu community http://loco.ubuntu.com/ or asking at https://askubuntu.com or https://ubuntuforums.org, or for more support options please look at https://discourse.ubuntu.com/t/community- support/709 Some of the require detail can be provided by using apport-collect. ie. Please execute the following command only once, as it will automatically gather debugging information, in a terminal: apport-collect 1859001 When reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using 'ubuntu- bug' and the name of the package affected.
