I installed the LXDOOM package and the DOOM-WAD-SHAREWARE package. My first time trying the game, so I am not sure I have everything, or not.
Regardless, I get the same error when ./lxdoom is run. [Ubuntu 7.10] Linux salamander 2.6.22-14-generic #1 SMP Sun Oct 14 21:45:15 GMT 2007 x86_64 GNU/Linux Perhaps a better error could be useful here.
