The delay to connect the USB devices seems to be a feature of the new firmware or something - on MS-Windows it takes even longer, about 30 seconds for all the devices to finish connecting. Could it be that the xhci_hcd failure is caused by the fact that the dock is now so slow to respond?
Anyway, that problem doesn't seem related to the "unknown event type 15" issue that this ticket is probably about, even though they both show "xHCI host not responding to stop endpoint command" - which is probably a symptom and not a cause. I'll be opening a new report for the thunderbolt connection issue. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1766076 Title: USB over thunderbolt turns off every once in a while To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/dell-sputnik/+bug/1766076/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
