Hi, could you outline what exactly you do to "attach Vf's manually"? Do you use libvirt`s `virsh attach-device` and if so which config do you use for the device?
Furthermore "I can see VM is crashed/shutdown" what exactly is it. Is there crash file in /var/crash for a real crash? What is in /var/log/libvirt/qemu/<guestname>.log when this happens? I see the memlock limit, did you have anything further in dmesg around apparmor, maybe DENIES to raise that limit (was an issue that existed in the past)? Which kind of VF are you using exactly HW model and type and the way you split it into VFs? And finally which Ubuntu release are you on so that one can consider the right SW versions? ** Changed in: libvirt (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1854952 Title: VM is getting crashed/shutdown when we attach VF's on demand To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/libvirt/+bug/1854952/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
