I am still experiencing this on 19.10, with *both* the Nvidia and
Nouveau drivers (maybe a new issue?). I'm currently running Nouveau, and
when resuming from sleep the screen is completely corrupt, the only
distinguishable feature is the mouse cursor. I tried logging in
"blindly", but I don't know if I succeeded, as the only thing I can see
is color noise.

Running Ubuntu 19.10 with kernel 5.3.0-23-generic, on an Intel Core i5
M460, GeForce 310M, Nvidia Driver 340.107 from nvidia-drivers. If you
need any more info, just let me know.
