@Doug Smythies: thanks for the reply. I'm sampling every second. Anyway, just to better understand. When my system is idle all cores spend in C0 less than 10% of the time and the frequency of each core reported by i7z is different and below 2.2GHz. When I run a single core (and single thread) task, there is just core "0" which is 100% of the time in C0 state (as it should) but I would have expected only such core to reach ~2.9GHz and the other to remain in below.
