Public bug reported:

When launching desktopfolder for the first time, it creates a 'Desktop'
Directory in my $HOME if it does not exist. However, my ubuntu is
configured for French language, so I already have a translated desktop
folder name called 'Bureau' (means 'Desktop'). So, the result is that my
Bureau folder is not used by the desktopfolder application and i do not
see my files on the screen background.

I suggest to add to desktopfolder a mean to translate the 'Desktop'
folder name into the current locale before to operate.
