Hi Michael, My humourous (?) remark was intended to allude as much to my own fixed mindset about where things are mounted as to any ambiguity in the wording.
I must admit that it is tough to capture the intention precisely in a few words. I'm not sure I'd grok what "follow" means in Ron's suggestion if I saw it for the first time, though. How about "index filesystems mounted in indexed places"?
