i always feel a bit biased setting importance on a bug i suffer from. but unless anyone disagrees i think this should be high.
there is not much that can be done at the moment. 169.04 is a beta release, so there is practically no chance of getting a StableReleaseUpdates currently. for an opensource program an SRU is usually a bug fix patch, not a new version. At the least it would have to be shown that a new driver did not introduce any new bugs. i am not sure if the backports team would want to deal with a driver. ** Changed in: linux-restricted-modules-2.6.22 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => High -- Random NVidia Proprietary Driver Lock-Ups with dual core + 7300 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/145112 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
