This failure looks like it was caused by corrupted install media, or device failure. eg. look in the logs and you'll see messages like these :- Nov 2 18:57:09 ubuntu kernel: [ 331.020871] SQUASHFS error: zlib decompression failed, data probably corrupt Nov 2 18:57:09 ubuntu kernel: [ 331.020875] SQUASHFS error: squashfs_read_data failed to read block 0x23a6805 Examining the information you have given us, this does not appear to be a useful bug report so I am closing it, as it appears to be a bad download or faulty device (or bad write-to-device).
