This is, I think, a problem with compizconfig-settings-manager. CCSM won't write the relevant gconf setting, but it works alright if you set it manually, like this: (rotating when using the mouse wheel at the screen edge)
gconftool --type=list --list-type=string --set \ /apps/compiz/plugins/rotate/allscreens/options/rotate_left_edge \ [Top,TopRight,Right,BottomRight,Bottom,BottomLeft,Left,TopLeft] gconftool --type=left --list-type=string --set \ /apps/compiz/plugins/rotate/allscreens/options/rotate_right_edge \ [Top,TopRight,Right,BottomRight,Bottom,BottomLeft,Left,TopLeft] gconftool --type=int --set \ /apps/compiz/plugins/rotate/allscreens/options/rotate_left_edgebutton 4 gconftool --type=int --set \ /apps/compiz/plugins/rotate/allscreens/options/rotate_right_edgebutton 5 ** Also affects: compizsettings Importance: Undecided Status: New -- compiz: switch virtual desktop using mouse wheel https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/150695 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
