I don't know. I have installed gimp by Adept manager, and added all I meant was needed. I also was at the GREYCstoration homepage and loaded that plug-in into gimp since the plug-in delivered with gimp is a little bit old. The language selected for Kubuntu is Norwegian, and that works OK. I will check if there is no language-pack-gnome-no-base installed and come back with what I find.
