I just tried to install edgy knot 3 on the system above and it still freezey, when I try to boot from CD. The boot menu appears, I can select a boot mode (tested normal and safe mode) and then the kernel gets unpacked and the boot progressbar appears (+ubuntu logo) and the system freezes. Does someone know the difference between debian installer (sarge+testing) and the ubuntu installer? The debian installer works fine on the system (as well as some other OSses.
