Public bug reported: There needs to be an easy way to rename disk labels on removable media such as thumb drives and mp3 players.
Currently, they just show up as 'disk' or 'disk-#' unless I have renamed them in another OS such as OS X. The way OS X does it is by changing the volume name on the disk and in the GUI, then the next time the volume is mounted, it gets the mount point of the new name. ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- There needs an easy way to rename partition labels on removable media. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/164797 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
