Public bug reported: Binary package hint: mozilla-thunderbird
This report may be related to bug #121741, I am not entirely sure about it, though. ii mozilla-thunderbird 2.0.0.8~pre071022+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.7.10 Transition package for mozilla-thunderbird r ii thunderbird 2.0.0.8~pre071022+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.7.10 mail/news client with RSS and integrated spa ii thunderbird-locale-de 1:2.0.0.0+1-0ubuntu1 Thunderbird German language/region package ii thunderbird-locale-en-gb 1:2.0.0.0+1-0ubuntu1 Thunderbird English language/region package When I use thunderbird to access my IMAP account, e-mails are often presented (in the overview) as not containing attachments, even though they actually do contain one or more attachments. In the Inbox, the attachment status is always shown correctly. If I move the mail to another folder, it is presented without the paper clip, that is normally used to indicate the presence of an attachment. Once I click on a mail with attachment, the paper clip appears and remains, even after restarting Thunderbird. For bigger attachments, it takes some time until the clip appears. If I move the mail to a third folder (not the Inbox!), the clip disappears again. Once I move it back to the second folder, the clip is there again. The correct behavior should be to always indicate the presence of an attachment by showing the paper clip.
